  You have the option of hiring a home inspector to evaluate the condition of the home before finalizing the purchase. it is highly recommended to hire a home inspector once you sign a contract on a home.

 Your application will then be sent to an Underwriter for a conditional approval. While your loan is being reviewed by an underwriter, you may be asked to provide additional documents.
