Sit down with your Loan Officer to discuss the mortgage process and your budget for the monthly payment and down payment. Provide income and asset documents to obtain a offical Pre-Approval.
Work with your real estate agent to find a home and place an offer. Your pre-approval letter will give you the negotiating power you need, and let the seller know that your financing is certain.
You have the option of hiring a home inspector to evaluate the condition of the home before finalizing the purchase. it is highly recommended to hire a home inspector once you sign a contract on a home.
Gather all required documents needed to complete the application. once document have been reviewed, You will receive a Loan Estimate to review and sign.
Your application will then be sent to an Underwriter for a conditional approval. While your loan is being reviewed by an underwriter, you may be asked to provide additional documents.
Once everything is clean and clear, The Loan Officer will receive a Clear to Close and then they will have you review and sign Closing documents. Once everything is signed, you'll get the keys to your forever home!
